After the brouhaha of the Rubber Riots and the secret blacklisting bookings became fewer and more inconsequential. It was wisely decided that a self imposed semi-retirement was in order.
For more than 20 years the collective presented scaled back entertainments every Wednesday and Friday evenings at the Tesla Triumphant Cafe in the Central Square district of Cambridge Mass. Tuli Kupferberg, Les Paul and Jimmy Carl Black were a few of the guests that graced the small stage.The cafe, like most things of interest in greater Boston, fell victim to the curse of the hideous yuppie gentrification that blights the area to this day.
